Andy Clausen Joins LCG Advisors as Managing Director of Business Valuation Division

LCG Advisors, a leading Tampa-based financial services advisory firm, has announced Andy Clausen, ASA joined the firm as Managing Director of LCG’s Business Valuation Division. As Managing Director, Mr. Clausen is charged with leading the Division’s growth, enhancing service offerings, and strengthening the firm’s capabilities in providing expert valuation services for a variety of industries. He is based in LCG’s Western Regional Headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

LCG’s Business Valuation Division provides a variety of services including valuations for SBA and other government-backed financings, mergers & acquisitions, purchase price allocations, impairment testing, gift and estate planning, machinery & equipment valuation, and shareholder or partnership agreements and disputes.

Mr. Clausen brings 20 years of valuation experience with an emphasis on purchase price allocations, impairment testing, gift and estate valuations, litigation support, and machinery & equipment valuation. Before joining LCG, Mr. Clausen founded and led Bluerock Valuation Services. Prior, he served as Director of Valuation Services at DSB Rock Island and was a manager at RSM, where he oversaw business valuation engagements across a wide range of industries, with a specialization in valuations for financial reporting. Mr. Clausen holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) credential from the American Society of Appraisers, with an emphasis in business valuation and intangible assets (BV/IA). Mr. Clausen brings extensive experience providing valuations to private and publicly traded companies for both gift and estate tax purposes, as well as for financial reporting under ASC 805 (Business Combinations) and ASC 350 (Goodwill and Other Intangible Assets).
