Commercial Partners Realty enters 2025with expanded vision and leadership
St. Petersburg, FL, Jan. 9, 2025 — Commercial Partners Realty (CPR) proudly announces the promotion of Austin Karrick to President & Broker effective January 1, 2025. He will be responsible for day-to-day management, operations, strategic vision and development of the company. Karrick will continue Commercial Partners Realty’s plan to expand into and service additional commercial real estate markets as the Tampa Bay region continues to attract new businesses and industries.
Together, Clendening and Karrick have shared Commercial Partners Realty’s strategic growth plan with their staff of eighteen agents and broker associates. “We have matured out of the ‘boutique’ label and really approach the day-to-day as a regional firm in the marketplace. Working throughout the Tampa Bay region, we have been an active participant in the pace at which our market is growing,” says Karrick. “The market growth has been in both size and complexity, which is something we have been geared towards and continue to develop internally with the team. We anticipate great success in 2025 and beyond.”
“Austin becomes just the second President in CPR’s history,” says Clendening. “He has earned his stripes by leading clients and our staff, sitting on the board of our parent company, George F. Young, and serving on several councils and executive committees.”
Clendening further goes on to say that he had been mentoring Karrick for this position for many years. They share similar leadership goals and a cohesive vision for Commercial Partners. Karrick’s ability to merge the market opportunities with the company’s continued growth strategy firmly set him in the quarterback position for CPR.
“We have a fantastic group that is very team oriented. I believe that is where a lot of our success is derived from; the willingness to help others whether there is direct personal benefit or not. When we mention growth, it isn’t just in terms of additional staff or markets but continuing to support our team and their own personal development. I love to see my team be successful. It is one of my greatest joys in the leadership role,” says Karrick.
