Good Folk Fest is a celebration of Creative Clay’s 30 years of advocating and supporting artists with disabilities. Featuring artists of all abilities is paramount to highlighting Creative Clay’s value of inclusion. This year, under the name Good Folk Fest, Creative Clay hosts the event at the Coliseum, bringing folk art patrons and music lovers together to celebrate 30 years of equality through art.
Creative Clay held its first arts and music festival, Folkfest St. Pete, along Central Avenue between the roundabout and Ferg’s in 2007. The festival highlighted folk artists and musicians from across the country while showcasing the artwork of Creative Clay’s member artists. Good Folk Fest is bringing it back—inside the Coliseum, with many of the artists and musicians who exhibited and performed with us in past years.
