Dining Out For Life Tampa Bay Celebrates 20th Anniversary on April 24, 2025

EPIC (Empath Partners in Care), a member of Empath Health, announced today the 20th Annual Dining Out For Life event, taking place on Thursday, April 24, 2025. This annual fundraiser supports services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.

Numerous restaurants across Tampa Bay come together each year to support this nationwide initiative, and this year, restaurants from Tampa, Gulfport, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Dunedin will participate by offering dine-in, outdoor seating, takeout, and delivery options. A portion of their sales will directly benefit EPIC’s comprehensive programs in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.

“It’s an incredible honor to celebrate 20 years of Dining Out For Life in Tampa Bay,” said Joy Winheim, President of EPIC. “Dining Out For Life is more than a meal—it’s a powerful reminder that our community shows up with love, compassion, and unwavering support for those affected by HIV/AIDS. Every meal shared helps us provide life-changing care, and every person who participates is part of something truly meaningful.”

EPIC provides a broad continuum of care, including medical case management, counseling, housing assistance, and prevention education, regardless of HIV status, gender, or sexual identity. The funds raised through Dining Out For Life are vital in sustaining these services.

This year’s event is presented by NPS Pharmacy, along with other local sponsors such as Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, BayCare, and the Pinellas Community Foundation, to ensure the continued success of Dining Out For Life in Tampa Bay.
