Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille collects gifts for CASA Pinellas Hope for The Holidays Drive

Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille is partnering with CASA Pinellas to collect gifts for domestic violence survivors in CASA shelters. Donations for the Hope for The Holidays Drive will be accepted Nov. 29 to Dec. 12 at Doc Ford’s St. Pete Pier location, 610 2nd Avenue NE, and Jungle Terrace location, 8790 Bay Pines Blvd., during regular business hours.
CASA Pinellas is accepting a variety of gifts, such as:
• Lego sets
• Board games
• Remote controlled boats and cars
• Tablets
• Fisher-Price
• Playskool
• Dollhouses and Barbies
• Disney toys
• Hot Wheels/Match Box sets
• Bath & Body Works gift sets
• Sensory play toys
• Star Wars
• Make-up
• Arts & Crafts kits
• Bluetooth speakers and headphones
• Peppa Pig, Bluey, Paw Patrol
CASA Pinellas is also accepting gift cards to Walmart and Target. Gift cards will empower survivors to choose what they need most.
Founded in 1977, CASA is the official certified domestic violence center serving Pinellas and Marion counties. The nonprofit challenges societal acceptance of all forms of domestic violence through advocacy, prevention, intervention and support services. The organization operates the area’s 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter, support groups and additional services, including legal and housing assistance and school-aged anti-bullying programs.
