Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille named ‘Best American Restaurant’ by St. Pete Life Magazine

Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille has been voted the Best American Restaurant in Pinellas County by St. Pete Life Magazine. The St. Petersburg Pier and Jungle Terrace locations were honored by the magazine’s 2026 Best Of Reader’s Choice poll, released today.
“This award means a great deal because it comes directly from the people who dine with us, celebrate with us and make Doc Ford’s part of their St. Petersburg experience,” said Joe Harrity, a partner with HM Restaurant Group, which manages Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille. “We’re grateful to our guest and proud of our team for the hospitality they deliver every day.”
The magazine’s annual poll shines a spotlight on the top businesses, people and places that make Pinellas County special. Winners are nominated and determined by readers and visitors through online polling and unique email addresses.
