ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (December 30, 2020) – The largest and longest running boat show on Florida’s west coast, the 43rd annual St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show will take place from January 14-17, 2021 at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts, Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin and Albert Whitted Park (next to the Dali Museum).

Typically drawing thousands of boating enthusiasts and sailing lovers with more than 400 power and sailboats, both on land and in the water, and nearly 250 exhibitors, this year’s showcase will be limited for attendees with tickets that must be purchased online at stpeteboatshow.com. General Admission for adults is $19 and admission is free for all children 15 and under. Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service for a free ticket. Note that there will be one box office window in the media credentials tent, to accommodate people who are not able to use their phones to buy the tickets at the show.

“An impressive lineup of new boats, marine gear and accessories will be on display, keeping safety and social distancing in mind for both exhibitors and the public,” said Chris Fleming, Show Director and Director of Business Development for Informa Markets. “We are working closely with the City of St. Petersburg to address the needs of downtown business owners and residents, requesting that masks be worn and implementing extensive sanitizing of all handrails, seating, and areas of embarkation around the boats. We are confident this year will be a rewarding experience for visitors and exhibitors, while we provide a great benefit to the local community.”

The U.S. Boat Shows division of Informa Markets, the leading exhibitions organizer that owns and operates the world’s leading international boat and yacht events, recently introduced its newly enhanced health and safety standards, AllSecure. The AllSecure standards have been adopted industry-wide and raise the bar on safe, hygienic, productive, and high-quality organized event experiences. As such, all Informa events, including the St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show, will be organized in accordance with the new AllSecure standards, as well as all official government and local authority guidance and regulations.

Located between the Duke Energy Center for the Arts, The Dalí Museum and the Mahaffy Theater, the St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show’s central waterfront location provides a breathtaking setting and an ideal spot for locals and visitors to explore many of downtown St. Petersburg’s main attractions.

The St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show hours are Thursday, January 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, January 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, January 16, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, January 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about the St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show, visit the website: www.stpeteboatshow.com.
