Former HSN Model & Tampa Bay Artist Advances in National “People’s Artist” Competition

I hope you’re doing well! I’m reaching out because I’m currently competing in Colossal’s nationwide “The People’s Artist” competition presented in partnership with Johnny Depp, and this week I’ll find out if I advance into the Top 5.

I’m a Tampa Bay-based intuitive artist and longtime muralist who spent over two decades building a mural career in Atlanta before eventually returning to Florida after my mother suffered a stroke. During that chapter of rebuilding and caregiving, I also worked locally as a model for HSN before reconnecting to my own artistic voice in a much deeper and more personal way.

Today, my work blends intuitive painting, movement, music, and storytelling as I publicly explore what it means to reconnect with the parts of ourselves we often suppress in order to feel safe, accepted, or understood.

What’s made this competition especially meaningful for me is that it’s challenged me to step more fully into visibility, authenticity, and allowing myself to receive support from my community; something that hasn’t always come naturally to me.

The competition also supports The Art of Elysium, whose mission resonates deeply with me because I’ve personally experienced how creativity and artistic expression can reconnect people to themselves during difficult seasons of life.

As the competition heads into this week’s Top 5 round this Thursday, just one day before my 54th birthday, I’d love the opportunity to share more of my story, artwork, and creative process with the Tampa Bay community through an interview, feature, or local spotlight segment.

I’ve included photos, video assets, and additional information below, and I’d be happy to provide anything else that may be helpful.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration,

Rosie Falconi
