Glass of Life Announces Call to Artists for ornaMENTAL 2025 Holiday Exhibition
Unconventional Holiday Show Seeks 20 Boundary-Pushing Artists Across All Mediums
Glass of Life is pleased to announce an open call to artists for ornaMENTAL 2025, an alternative holiday exhibition transforming the gallery into a twisted winter wonderland. The show will feature original ornaments from 20 selected artists displayed across 15+ decorated trees throughout the studio.
Running from Thanksgiving through Christmas, ornaMENTAL 2025 invites artists working in all mediums—including glass, ceramics, fiber, metal, wood, mixed media, painting, and sculpture—to reimagine traditional holiday décor through a darker, more experimental lens.
“We’re creating St. Petersburg’s most unconventional holiday art experience,” says Jodi Chemes, founder of Glass of Life. “Dark, whimsical, unconventional, beautiful, bizarre—if it hangs and makes people stop and stare, it belongs in ORNAMENTAL.”

Exhibition Dates: Thanksgiving through Christmas 2025
The exhibition offers participating artists high visibility during St. Petersburg’s peak holiday season, with exposure during the popular Second Saturday ArtWalk, dedicated artist reception, and holiday shopping events.
