I wanted to share some exciting news from the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg. Nicci Bucher has been named as the organization’s new President & Chief Executive Officer, following a nationwide search. She officially assumed leadership this month, succeeding David Jezek after his 18 years of service.

Nicci brings over 20 years of progressive YMCA leadership experience, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at YMCA of Central Florida, where she oversaw a $51.6 million operational budget and numerous high-impact initiatives. Her vision and commitment to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility position her to lead the Y into a strong and vibrant future.

If you’re interested in speaking with Nicci about her new role, her plans for the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, and her perspective on community impact, I’d be happy to arrange an interview at your convenience.

Please let me know if you’d like to connect.

Best regards,

Lisa Eccles
