Parking – Free parking at the Lealman Exchange – follow the Facebook page for off-site  parking options. Jolley Trolley will provide transportation from overflow parking to the event.

Organized by the Lealman Engagement Committee (Pinellas County, Florida Dream  Center, Lealman Fire District, Pinellas County Housing Authority, Lealman Community  Association, Lealman Community District Services, St. Petersburg Foundation, and Exquisite  Marketing & Events, Feeding Pinellas, and Lealman and Asian Neighborhood Family Center)

NARRATIVE: 

Lealman Engagement Events Committee to Host Events & Festivals Throughout the Year 

Lealman, an neighborhood in central Pinellas County is home to more than 30,000 residents. Citing the potential for Community Redevelopment, Pinellas County has identified Lealman as  a Community Redevelopment Area (CRA.) Community stakeholders, local partners, and  County staff have joined to form the Lealman Engagement Events Committee to plan and  develop public events & celebrations in Lealman.  

The committee hosted its first year of Lealman community events in 2022-2023, successfully  drawing thousands of residents to Lealman. The second season began with the Lealman  Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.  

Upcoming – On February 10, 2024, Raymond H. Neri Community Park will be the location of  the second annual Honey & Arts Festival. Over 4,500 attendees are expected, 60% higher  than last year’s event. The honey community has united with food trucks and local artists to  incorporate honey into many of their own creations.  

– Local Honey and Beekeepers selling their wares 

– Craft vendors 

– Food trucks 

– Live music by the Black Honkeys, Lint Rollers, Hot Rod Hornets, and Lealman’s very  own Pink Streets Band 

– Live chainsaw art 

– Tasting of Ulele’s crafted Honey & Arts signature beer 

– Craft beer & wine and so much more!

The first annual Lealman Honey and Arts Festival was a success. It brought our community  together and introduced many folks to just some of what Lealman has to offer. This year’s  festival will be bigger and better, and I can’t wait for more of our neighbors to experience it.”,  Pinellas County Commissioner Charlie Justice

The Lealman Engagement Events Committee’s inception in June of 2022 inspired immediate  action by local organizations and partners to develop and host the first of many events in  Lealman. An unincorporated neighborhood in central Pinellas County home to more than  30,000 residents.
