Linsey Grove Earns Endorsements from LGBTQ+ Leaders and Organizations During Pride Month

St. Petersburg, FL – Candidate for St. Petersburg City Council District 6, Linsey Grove, announced today the endorsements of prominent LGBTQ+ leaders and organizations: Gulfport Ward 3 Councilmember Jennifer Webb, the Stonewall Democrats of Pinellas County, and the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund.

The endorsements arrive in the spirit of Pride Month and underscore Linsey’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-centered leadership. The LGBTQ+ Victory Fund, a national organization dedicated to electing more openly LGBTQ+ voices to public office, has endorsed Linsey for District 6.

The Stonewall Democrats, a longtime, local advocacy organization for LGBTQ+ rights and social justice, praised Linsey’s public health training and public service experience. “Her leadership as President of the League of Women Voters, paired with her thoughtful and intersectional approach to district issues, makes her an excellent choice for St. Petersburg City Council District 6.”

These endorsements follow a wave of organizational support this month, including local organizations like SEIU Florida, the Suncoast Sierra Club, and Activate St. Pete—affirming Linsey’s broad-based coalition.
