St. Petersburg, FL – Feb. 12, 2025 – As race fans prepare for the 2025 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, local artist and entrepreneur Erik Hesson is using the occasion to give back to his community.

Hesson, known for his exhibitions at the Dali Museum and other Tampa Bay venues, recently launched Pilot & Driver, a motorsport-inspired lifestyle brand. During Grand Prix weekend, 10% of all Pilot & Driver sales will be donated to hurricane and flood recovery efforts in St. Pete.

“As a longtime resident and artist in this city, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of last year’s storms,” says Hesson. “St. Pete is not just a beautiful place—it’s a community that supports each other. With so many people still rebuilding, I want to do my part to help.”

Pilot & Driver, which blends automotive and aviation aesthetics into stylish apparel and accessories, will be actively promoting the initiative throughout race weekend. Hesson hopes to partner with local organizations like Visit St. Pete Clearwater to amplify awareness and encourage others to contribute.
