PathO3Gen Solutions Welcomes Tim Smith as Regional Sales Director, Western Area

PathO3Gen Solutions is pleased to welcome Tim Smith to their growing sales team as Regional Sales Director, Western Area. Tim is PathO3Gen’s first hire outside of their home state of Florida. Tim brings a unique blend of medical sales experience, extensive medical education and training in the fields of infection prevention, cardiology, radiology, neurology, orthopedics, surgery, critical care, and endovascular procedures.

Privately held, Florida-based PathO3Gen Solutions holds multiple patents on their novel Ozone + UVC technology, the UVZone, which reduces the microbial load of indoor environments. Tim earned a full ride football scholarship to Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where he received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and completed pre-medical school requirements. He began his career selling orthopedic products for Sutter/Orthologic, where he earned multiple sales awards including Winner’s Circle (Top 10) Award. In the cardiology arena, with Johnson & Johnson-Cordis, he earned President’s Club Award (Top 10) and Million Dollar Club Award (revenue over $17 million) and launched the first drug-eluting stent. He was then recruited to ev3 Endovascular (acquired by Medtronic) where he excelled selling endovascular devices and again earned President’s Club.

He has continued earning multiple sales awards and accomplishment including 2 (two) Instrumental Contributor #1 Region of the Year, and the same award at Nihon Kohden America. At Toshiba American Medical Systems (now Canon Medical), Tim developed strategies and planning to assist healthcare facility C-Suite Executives, department directors and clinicians implementing new multi-million dollar solutions in PET, CT, CT Simulators, MRI, and CT Scanners.

Most recently with The Rhino Group, Tim worked with Healthcare C-Suite administrators, physicians, department leaders, and biomedical and materials directors to provide solutions including the Skytron UVC robot, capital equipment, and surgical products.

Tim and his wife Peggy live in Elkhorn, Nebraska and have three grown children.
