St. Pete in Style: Rada Krivokapic Radonjic Is Changing Nature of Global Fashion and here’s how
Just as St. Pete, Florida is known for blending art, history, and modern lifestyle into a vibrant community identity, Rada’s designs embody the same spirit: respect for heritage with a bold vision for the future. The city’s growing creative scene offers a fitting backdrop for conversations about fashion that not only dresses the body, but also tells the story of culture and innovation.
Rada Krivokapić Radonjić is Montenegrin fashion designer and stylist. She gained renown with Kovilm (2019), a reinvention of the classic tie and bow tie, and Zentivns (2022), a registered folk costume uniting centuries of tradition with a contemporary vision. Her journey is inspiring as her designs. Rada honed her skills during internship with Giorgio Armani in Milan, where she crossed paths with fashion legends like Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, and Roberto Cavalli. “That experience gave me the courage to find my own voice.” Rada Krivokapic Radonjic notes.
In London (2023), Krivokapic Radonjic was awarded World’s Best Fashion Designer, followed by a Lifetime Achievement Award from Matica hrvatska (2024), and Fashion Designer of the Year for Southern Europe (2025). Beyond the accolades, Rada Krivokapic Radonjic is recognized for her philosophy: fashion as a tool for change. Her eco-friendly creations are not just clothes—they are statements about protecting the planet, preserving culture, and inspiring unity. Now, with her educational projects and upcoming book Krojenje i šivenje, she is sharing her knowledge with the next generation. “Fashion shapes how we live and how we think,” she explains. And for Rada, that means blending beauty with responsibility.
