Here is a synopsis of “Cash for Gold”:
A poignant tale of loss, forgiveness, and hope in America’s heartland, CASH FOR GOLD tells the story of Grace, an Army widow hiding a dark secret. Fighting to support herself and her young son while clinging to her recent sobriety — and with Christmas fast approaching — she takes a second job at the local pawn shop owned by the town’s only Muslim family. She initially butts heads with the owner’s son Hasan, a man with a secret of his own. As their relationship deepens, forces within their tiny community propel them toward one dangerous, explosive night. Will they each face the mistakes of their past…or be destroyed by them forever?
With Deborah Puette (Revolution), Farshad Farahat (Argo), David Sullivan (Argo), JoBeth Williams (Poltergeist), Jeff Kober (Sons of Anarchy), and Andrew J. West (The Walking Dead)
Robert was born at St. Anthony’s, graduated from Largo High School, attended Santa Fe College and graduated from the University of Florida.
Being half Filipino and first generation in the U.S., Robert had very close ties to the Filipino community, where his father had served as President of the Filipino/American Club. He was a member of the Largo High School Basketball team and an avid beach volleyball player (at 6 feet-5 of course).
