St. Petersburg Resident Troy Willingham Elected to Serve as Rotary International’s District Governor

Troy Willingham, past president of the Rotary Club of St. Petersburg has been elected to serve as Rotary International’s District 6950 Governor for 2022-23, beginning July 1. He is a second generation Rotarian and a commercial architect. He is a graduate of the University of Florida. He and his wife Jean Kenlan Willingham are lifelong residents of St Petersburg and have three adult sons.

Rotary District 6950 is comprised of nearly 2,000 Rotarians in 49 clubs across four counties on the west coast of Florida, who annually contribute thousands of service hours. The District will raise over $4 million to improve local communities in the coming year. Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.Rotary has also been the driving force to eradicate polio with only several cases reported in the world, so far this year.
