St. Petersburg, FL September 2025
St. Pete is about to get smaller in the most delightful
way possible. A new miniature art gallery, built to a precise 1:12 scale, will open to
the public after September 25 during a special unveiling event at the Creative Pinellas Gallery.
Created with support from the Creative Pinellas Arts Impact Grant and the City of St. Petersburg,
this 3-story, mobile installation invites visitors to explore rotating exhibits of miniature artwork and
even participate by swapping pieces with their own.
Think of it like a Little Free Library, but for art, says artist Merritt Horan, who will be the featured
artist at the private September 25 event. You can visit, explore the exhibit, and if you’re an artist,
you’re welcome to swap out a piece with your own miniature creation, with free registration online.
What to Expect:
– Inaugural Location: Open to public beginning September 26, 2025 at Creative
Pinellas Gallery
– An evolving exhibit of tiny art, stickers, zines, mini-canvases, sculptures, and more
– Perfect for art lovers, collectors, and fans of tiny things
– Share your visit using #stpeteminigallery and tag @stpetemg & @creativepinellas
This grant-funded project reflects the heart of the St. Pete creative scene: accessible, unexpected,
and deeply rooted in community spirit. More locations and swap events to come! Interested parties in
having the gallery come to your location should contact Merritt.
