Tampa, Fla. (April 16, 2021) – Coldwell Banker Realty in Florida announced today that Terrence Cook has been elevated to regional vice president for the company’s West Central Region. In this position, Cook will oversee the daily operations of the company’s 14 offices and over 1,157 affiliated sales associates in the greater Tampa Bay area. He succeeds Charles Richardson, who has admirably served Coldwell Banker for nearly two decades and is retiring in late May.

Cook has been with Coldwell Banker for nearly 20 years. He previously served as managing broker for Coldwell Banker Realty’s Lakewood Ranch office and East Manatee office in southwest Florida. Cook led the Lakewood Ranch office to the company’s distinction of the No. 1 office in Florida, by net profit, in 2018 and 2019. In addition to overseeing the daily operations for two branches, Cook increased profitability and agent recruitment during his management tenure.

“Terrence has dedicated himself, with the upmost professionalism, to the growth of the affiliated agents under his leadership and to the success of our company,” said Duff Rubin, president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Florida. “His ability to foster a collaborative environment along with his knowledge of technology, investment and sales makes him a dynamic and innovative leader, and I know that he will continue to be an asset to our company and to our affiliated agents.”

In 2020, Cook was named Top President’s Council Managing Broker in Florida as well as in the Top Five President’s Council Managing Brokers in the nation.

Deeply involved with the industry, Cook has served on numerous committees and held multiple leadership positions with the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Association of Realtors®, on the Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee Finance Committee, and Professional Standards Committee.

Cook has a diverse background in sales with nearly 30 years of experience in the field. He holds a dual major degree in business administration with a focus on management and marketing from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Cook grew up in a military family, and he attributes much of his ability to adapt and thrive in varied environments to the years that he spent traveling the U.S. and abroad with his family.
