TRICERA CAPITAL REFINANCES RETAIL PROPERTY AT THE BOTTOM OF CAMDEN CENTRAL WITH AMERIS BANK IN $9.925 MILLION TRANSACTION. JLL facilitated the debt transaction.
Miami, FL — September 30, 2025 — Tricera Capital, a Miami-based real estate investment firm, has successfully refinanced the retail component at the Camden Central apartment building with a $9,925,000 loan from Ameris Bank. The transaction closed on September 19, 2025.
Tricera originally acquired approximately 35,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space at Camden Central in downtown St. Petersburg in 2021 for $11.1 million. The retail component is part of a larger 368-unit mixed-use development and includes the historic Union Trust Bank building. The new financing provides ownership with enhanced flexibility to stabilize and strategically position the property as a preferred urban retail destination in the St. Pete market.

“This refinancing underscores our continued commitment to downtown St. Petersburg, and showcases our steadfast approach to asset management.” said Ben Mandell, CEO.
