Zeta Upsilon Omega Chapter and Youth Development Foundation Unite to Empower Women Entrepreneurs
St. Petersburg, FL — On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Zeta
Upsilon Omega Chapter, in partnership with the Youth Development Foundation of Pinellas County,
Inc., will host the Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the St. Petersburg
College Allstate Center, located at 3200 34th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida 33711.
This dynamic forum will bring together founders, professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs for an
engaging experience centered on innovation, leadership, access to capital, and sustainable business
growth. The event will feature a moderated panel discussion with distinguished business leaders,
followed by an interactive audience Q&A session designed to foster meaningful dialogue and
connection.
“Our goal is to ensure that women in St. Petersburg have direct access to the tools, relationships, and
knowledge they need to build businesses that last,” said Mrs. Jenee Skipper, President of Alpha Kappa
Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Upsilon Omega Chapter. “This forum is a reflection of our deep
commitment to economic empowerment right here in our community.”
Featured panelists will be announced shortly. The chapter is extending invitations to select thought
leaders and entrepreneurs whose work in educating and equipping business owners has made a
significant impact in the region.
The forum is free and open to the public. Community members, business professionals, and aspiring
entrepreneurs are encouraged to register in advance. Registration details will be shared via the chapter’s
