Onstage Saturday at the Mahaffey Theater, Caamp is an indie folk/pop band whose most recent album, 2025’s Copper Changes Color, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart.

According to allmusic.com, the album shows a tougher, more rock ‘n’ roll edge to the Ohio quintet, which debuted in 2016: “Copper Changes Color reveals a few of the band’s deeper shades, without abandoning the friendliness and familiarity that are their stock-in-trade.”

Tickets for Saturday’s 7:30 show are at this link.

Onscreen today

Today at 5:30 p.m. at the Dali Museum, there’s a screening and discussion of Luis Buñuel’s acclaimed 1962 surrealist film El ángel exterminador. Find tickets here.

Season 59 officially gets underway for The Florida Orchestra with the first Masterworks concert. Headlined by Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, the Mahaffey Theater concert (Friday 7:30 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m.) also includes Rossini’s William Tell Overture as well as Christopher Theofanidis’ The Gift and Wellington’s Victory from Herr Beethoven.
