Affordable health care medical firm opens on Central

Village Medical has opened a new location in St. Pete at the corner of 34th Street and Central Avenue. The company’s innovative model provides opportunities for affordable health care in under-served communities, with an emphasis on hiring staff from within the communities they serve by working with local job boards, veterans groups and training organizations. Each Village Medical location brings upwards of 15 STEM jobs with average annual wages of more than $100,000. Other full-time jobs on offer include full benefits with compensation starting at $50,000 per year, according to the city's progress report.
