After two days in the double digits, positive Covid test rate drops to 8.46 percent
December 30, 2020 - The Florida Department of Health reported an additional 374 cases in Pinellas County Wednesday and five additional deaths due to Covid-19, bringing the cumulative county total since March to 44,243 cases and 1,045 deaths. The two-week percent positivity rate now stands at 8.06 percent. As of Wednesday afternoon, there were 306 people hospitalized with a primary diagnosis of Covid-19 in Pinellas County's acute-care hospitals, with 14.5 percent of adult ICU beds available. More than 12,000 people have been vaccinated against the virus countywide.
