Alex Golesh leaves USF for Auburn
December 1, 2025 - Alex Golesh announced Sunday that he is leaving the University of South Florida to become the head football coach at Auburn. USF went 23-15 in three years under Golesh and won two bowl games. Golesh drew national interest after USF began the season with victories against Boise State and Florida. The Bulls (9-3) concluded their best season in seven years Saturday with a 52-3 rout of Rice.
