Azalea Middle to host statewide drone expo
December 3, 2025 - Azalea Middle School's Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron will host the 5th annual Sunshine State Drone Expo. The event is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at 7855 22nd Ave. N. in St. Petersburg, and will bring together local, state and national experts to highlight the latest in drone technology and safety. According to the announcement, Alzalea Middle is "known for having some of the youngest students in the world certified in drone safety and flight."
