BayCare consolidates Covid-19 testing sites
March 23, 2020 - BayCare Health System has reduced the number of Covid-19 coronavirus testing sites it is operating from seven to four. BayCare said it is consolidating the test sites to one per county. Sites are open from 9 a.m. to noon at BayCare Urgent Care centers at 900 Carillon Parkway in St. Petersburb, 3440 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Tampa, 4821 U.S. Highway 19 in New Port Richey and 36245 U.S. Highway 27 in Haines City. Because of limited test supplies, BayCare is only testing people with symptoms of the virus — cough, fever and shortness of breath — and with documentation from a physician that they have been referred for testing.
