Cafe and wine bar to open in Grand Central District
May 5, 2025 - A Moroccan-inspired cafe and wine bar will open this summer at 2200 1st Ave. S. in St. Petersburg's growing Grand Central District. Ruya, from the Arabic word for "vision" or "dream," will serve coffee, tea, beer, wine and Moroccan pastries. A patio with green turf and outdoor seating can host food trucks and other local vendors.
