City announces MLK Parade details
December 20, 2025 - The City of St. Petersburg and event organizer Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival, Inc., will celebrate the life and legacy of civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the 39th annual St. Pete MLK Parade: "The Power of A Dream" on Jan. 19. The parade is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will head west on 1st Avenue South, from 3rd Street to 26th Street, then south on 16th Street to 3rd Avenue Souty, before culminating at Tropicana Field. Acclaimed marching bands from Tuskegee and Alabama A&M Universities will participate. For more information, visit the website here.
