City installs ‘Pride-inspired’ bike racks
December 15, 2025 - The City of St. Petersburg has installed 11 "Pride-inspired" bicycle racks along Central Avenue and 25th Street. Officials believe the initiative is a "vibrant way to honor the Pride street murals that the Florida Department of Transportation removed earlier this year. The city's long-standing public bike rack program funded the initiative.
