City provides additional Trop site proposal information
November 19, 2025 - The City of St. Petersburg will publish a notice to submit alternative redevelopment proposals Jan. 4 for the Historic Gas Plant District, currently home to Tropicana Field. The notice, pursuant to Florida statute, will include detailed instructions on how development groups should submit proposals. Once released, those will be available at www.stpete.org/realestate. The 30-day submission window will close Feb. 3.
