City to celebrate National Small Business Week
April 30, 2026 - The City of St. Petersburg and the St. Pete Greenhouse will celebrate National Small Business Week with a series of community events designed to "help local entrepreneurs start, grow and thrive." According to a prepared statement, the City will also launch the Legacy Business Program, which will honor St. Petersburg companies that have operated for more than 20 years. Events include a May 5 National Small Business Week Walk, the first Legacy Business ribbon cutting May 6 at the Morean Arts Center (at 719 Central Ave.) and a Small Business Week AI-Powered Marketing Lunch & Learn May 6 at the St. Pete Greenhouse (at 440 2nd Avenue N.).
