Clearwater promotional products firm cuts workers
April 30, 2020 - Bic Graphic, a Clearwater-based promotional products firm, has furloughed or laid off 337 workers at sites in Clearwater and St. Petersburg. The company cited the impact on its business due to the impact of Covid-19, in an April 28 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the state. The move impacts 210 workers at the company's office at 3001 Tech Drive in St. Petersburg, and another 127 workers at two locations at 14421 and 14433 Meyerlake Circle in Clearwater. "We hope these actions will be temporary and not last longer than necessary," the WARN said.
