Clearwater’s Big Storm Brewing hits the auction block
November 20, 2025 - A federal bankruptcy judge has approved the sale of Big Storm Brewing amid efforts to recover money its former owner allegedly stole from a medical trust fund. The Clearwater-based brewery's tap room on 49th Street North, equipment, liquor licenses, inventory and trademarks will be up for grabs at a Dec. 3 auction. The starting bid is $7.5 million.
