County’s Juvenile Justice Citizens’ Academy begins next month

March 30, 2026 - Pinellas County, in collaboration with the Department of Juvenile Justice, will host a free 10-session Juvenile Justice Citizens’ Academy from April 23 to June 25. According to a prepared statement, the effort will give participants a "chance to meet professionals who work in the juvenile justice system." Sessions will take place on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Residents must apply by April 17 to participate in the initiative. To learn more about the academy, visit this link.
