Dali Museum announces next two exhibits
August 11, 2022 - The Dali Museum has announced its next two exhibits. Opening Sept. 3, Paul Éluard: Poetry, Politics, Love focuses on one of the most celebrated and idealistic surrealist poets with a selection of his poetry, in context with photographs and selected books. The Shape of Dreams, opening Nov. 25, explores 500 years of paintings from the 16th to 20th century, demonstrating how artists throughout time have depicted the enigmatic state of awareness that often leaves dreamers searching for meaning. The exhibit will feature a selection of art on loan from the National Gallery of Art, Detroit Institute of Arts, The New Orleans Museum of Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art and others, along with several works from The Dali's permanent collection.
