Fire Rescue douses blaze at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve
March 31, 2022 - St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve at approximately noon Thursday. Crews arrived to find a large area of brush on the north end of the preserve, not including trees, on fire. The fire is now under control. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Fire Rescue reported, as it was not a planned controlled burn.
