Gualtieri named president of national Sheriff’s accociation

February 5, 2026 - Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri will now lead a professional law enforcement association that represents over 120 million citizens for the next two years. He was sworn in as president of the Major County Sheriffs of America (MCSA) at a ceremony Thursday in Washington, D.C. "Law enforcement faces an unprecedented number of challenges, and the MCSA is well-positioned to make an impact through its advocacy, policy priorities and expertise of its member sheriffs," Gualtieri said.
