
Is St. Petersburg a ‘hard-working’ city?
February 24, 2024 - WalletHub recently released its annual “Hardest-Working Cities in America” rankings, and St. Petersburg placed No. 38 - nine spots below Tampa. The personal finance platform’s researchers compared the 116 largest cities across 11 metrics, including hours worked and employment rates. St. Pete ranked above Jacksonville and Baltimore, traditionally considered "blue-collar" cities.
