KnowBe4 releases top-clicked phishing report for Q3 2019

October 21, 2019 - More than four out of 10 people who got an email with an urgent message to check a password fell for the scheme in simulated phishing tests by KnowBe4 in Q3 2019. Hackers are playing into employees' desires to be security-minded, according to the Clearwater cybersecurity firm, which trains workers to be "human firewalls" for their companies. Other email subject lines in simulated phishing tests that were clicked-on included "a delivery attempt was made," "deactivation of email in process," and "new food trucks coming to [company name]."
