Largo to present alternative FY 2028 budget next week
October 3, 2026 - At the City of Largo's Tuesday (Oct. 6) City Commission meeting, representatives will give a presentation on how services "could be affected if property tax revenue is reduced," according to a prepared statement. An alternative fiscal year 2028 budget will be discussed. This plan "outlines possible impacts, including potential recreation facility closures, reduced library hours and service-level reductions across departments, including public safety." The meeting will take place at Horizon West Bay, at 440 West Bay Drive, beginning at 6 p.m.
