Local high earners increasingly choose to rent

April 22, 2023 - According to U.S. Census Data compiled by RentCafe, the population of Tampa Bay renters annually earning over $150,000 grew by 75.1% between 2016 and 2021. However, the metro area is well below the national average increase of 87.5%. Seattle paced the U.S. with a 169% increase in high-income earners, followed by Miami at 166%.
