Mahaffey test site to close due to potential storm threat
July 30, 2020 - Due to the threat of impacts from Tropical Storm Isaias, the drive-through Covid-19 testing site at the Duke Energy for the Arts Mahaffey Theater parking garage will temporarily close at 7 p.m. Thursday. The site will also be closed Friday and Saturday, and isn't open on Sundays. Anyone seeking testing can visit the site sponsored by the City of St. Petersburg through Aug. 1 at Pinellas Community Church, 5501 31st St. South, 33712. Appointments can be made by calling (833) 697-4352. The tests are free and no symptoms or referrals are required. Testing hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Testing will also be available at BayCare's Tropicana Field site Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. The site is not open on weekends.
