McKibbon Hospitality expands portfolio
December 21, 2022 - Tampa-based hotel management firm McKibbon Hospitality has added three new Miami hotel to its portfolio. The properties, owned by Miami-based firm OPB Capital Group, include the Regency Miami Airport hotel by Sonesta, Aloft Miami Doral hotel and the Element Miami Doral hotel. "We are excited to forge a new relationship with OPB Capital Group who have entrusted us to operate these three unique properties” Bruce Baerwalde, president of McKibbon Hospitality, said in the company's Wednesday news release. “We look forward to working alongside them and the properties’ onsite leadership teams to elevate guest experiences and expand our reach in this thriving and evolving market.” The three new hotels add a total of 460 new guest rooms to McKibbon's overall portfolio, bringing the total number of guest rooms to 12,310, according to the announcement.
