Metropolitan Ministries CEO announces impending retirement
January 30, 2025 - Tampa-based Metropolitan Ministries announced Thursday that CEO Tim Marks will retire before the end of the year, and Board Chair Jeff Marple will lead efforts to find a successor. Marks joined Metropolitan Ministries in 2006 and is one of only two CEOs in the nonprofit’s 53-year history. The organization provided over 3.3 million meals, 150,000 nights of shelter, $2 million in hurricane relief and supported more than 34,000 families in four counties throughout 2024.
