More than 700 Covid cases reported in Pinellas Friday
January 15, 2021 - The Florida Department of Health reported another 706 cases of Covid-19 in Pinellas County Friday and 12 additional deaths, bringing the cumulative county total since March to 53,445 cases and 1,169 deaths. The two-week percent positivity rate now stands at 10.03 percent. As of Friday afternoon, there were 357 people hospitalized with a primary diagnosis of Covid-19 in Pinellas County's acute-care hospitals, with 17.9 percent of adult ICU beds available.
