Neptune Flood launches commercial insurance
June 4, 2020 - Neptune Flood, a St. Petersburg-based insurance technology company, has begun offering commercial flood insurance for small and mid-size businesses. The commercial product is available in 48 states. Initially, Neptune is offering commercial flood insurance for non-residential businesses such as offices, retailers and restaurants, with a second phase extending the product to hotels, apartment buildings and condominiums later this summer, a news release said. Neptune used advanced computing power to evaluate and price flood insurance policies. The company has more than 30,000 residential policies in place.
