Pinellas County commits to meet 100 percent renewable energy goal
November 11, 2021 - Earlier this week, the Pinellas County Commission voted unanimously to adopt a countywide plan for electricity to be sourced entirely from clean energy by 2050. Other municipal governments within Pinellas County, including St. Petersburg and Dunedin, have already committed to the goal. The resolution states that at least 50% of the county's operations and facilities would be powered by clean energy by 2030.
