Pinellas County Government receives top financial award
November 2, 2022 - The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) recently awarded Pinellas County Government with its prestigious Triple Crown designation. According to a release, Pinellas is one of only 317 local governments nationwide to receive the recognition for FY2020. The Triple Crown designation encompasses the GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the Annual Financial Reporting Award and the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. Each program recognizes governments that produce and communicate reports in a transparent manner while meeting all applicable standards.
