Pinellas local emergency in place through month end

April 21, 2021 - Pinellas County has extended its state of local emergency for Covid-19 through April 30. The declaration retains the county’s eligibility for FEMA reimbursements for pandemic-related expenses. It also keeps in effect a county ordinance requiring face coverings within public places, and restaurants and bars to serve only patrons who are seated. The Board of County Commissioners will consider repealing or amending the ordinance during its May 11 hybrid in-person and virtual meeting. Residents have multiple options for offering public comment.
